In the summer there is hiking, camping, mountain biking, as well as the alpine slide, horseback riding, and bungee jumping at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl.

Up at Timberline Lodge there is year round skiing as well as beautiful hikes you can go on. Back down the mountain you'll find several different lakes including clear lake, frog lake, timothy lake, and trillium. Being a fishermen or just enjoying the water you'll have something to do.

Rent a cabin or lodge and you'll have something to go back to at the end of the day. The nice thing is you can head over to the bars in the heart of Government Camp and every cabin is walking distance back if the night leads that way. I almost forgot, there is snow which means you can always sled and have snowball fights.
