This charming vacation home is steeped in shipping and local
history. It was built in part from the lumber and salvage off
The Joan of Arc steamship. Still used in the home is the owl
foot bath tub from the ship after it crashed and was set adrift
it ran aground in the harbor at Port Orford, November 1921.
"The Joan" offers visitors a step back in time, to a period
when life was slower paced and families spent time playing
games, reading, and sometimes sharing their love for music
around a piano.
Fully furnished, this cozy 4 bedroom home is within walking
distance to restaurants, shopping, movies, the beach and a
spectacular ocean viewpoint.
The main house is fully furnished and includes the following:
* cookware
* kitchen utensils
* coffee maker
* toaster
* microwave
* refrigerator
* electric range
* antique claw foot bathtub with overhead shower
